Work Education or S.U.P.W is a compulsory subject in kendriya Vidyalayas as well as in C.B.S.E. From the very beginning from class I to XII.
Work Experience may be described as
purposeful and meaningful manual work ,designed to prepare the pupils in providing either goods or services which are useful to the community.
It is also said that "Work Education, correctly understand and properly implemented provides constitutive factor for true and total education".
In this subject all teaching is based on
activities. Students work themselves and understand the things:
"If children know something
they forget it
If children see something
they learn it
If children do something
