About the School
Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Sirsa was established in July 1994 in a temporary building. Its new building on Kanganpur Road, Sirsa was inaugurated by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Hon'ble Union Minister for Human Resource Development in the presence of Ch. Om Prakash Chautala, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Haryana on July 21, 2001. It is a one section school from class I to XI.
The Vidyalaya stands in a campus spread over thirteen and a half acres of land which provides ample space for Games and Sports and various activities.

KV2 Sirsa is one of the prestigious schools of city located in an Eco friendly environment. Sh. V.Uma Shanker, IAS, Deputy Commssioner. Sirsa is the chairman of the Vidyalaya management Committee. Vidyalaya is doing very well in academics as well as in co-curricular activities.
Results
(I) The result of AIISE has been 100% with a number of distinctions & merit certificates for three consective years i.e. 2006,2007 & 2008.
(II) 3 Students of this Vidyalaya were selected to participate in SGFI’2007 held at Aizwal, Mizoram in ‘JUDO’.
(III) Students participated at KVS National sports & games meet held at Bhopal in 2007 & won medals.
